Law beyond the State borders.
This is the subject of the International Case Law (Jurisprudência Internacional-JI) newsletter of Nasser Advogados.
Courts and other international institutions rule on claims related to trade, investments, seas, environment, intellectual property, and a myriad of other subjects on a daily basis.
In JI we follow the work by those decision bodies and comment on the decisions particularly relevant to Brazil and our business environment or which help to gain an understanding of the major international issues.
In addition to monitoring the very international decisions, we also select and comment on cases that significantly represent the growing intertwining of international and internal spheres, different legal systems, and law and other types of normativity.
We aim at evidencing the increasing complexity of the relation between legal systems and the actual impossibility of isolating the national law from what happens in the world.
