Rabih Nasser is a founder of Nasser Advogados and has over 25 years of practice in business law, corporate law, arbitration, antitrust law, and international trade.

His broad experience spans across mergers and acquisitions and other types of business negotiations, numerous arbitration proceedings and mediations, administrative processes in the Trade Defense and Competition Law areas. Rabih represents domestic and foreign companies, in Brazil and abroad, in business deals and projects related to different areas and industries, including infrastructure, construction, retail, renewable energy, medical equipment, chemistry, and defense.

Besides his practice as a lawyer, arbitrator, and mediator, he built an academic career as a professor of international law, international trade law, and arbitration at São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas, after earning his master’s and PhD degrees in international economic law from PUC-SP and USP, respectively.

His published works include books and numerous papers covering mainly international economic law, trade agreements, arbitration, and international contracts subjects. Since 2019, he has been the coordinator of the International Trade Law Journal (Revista de Direito do Comércio Internacional) published by Enlaw – Portal de Revistas Jurídicas.

Due to his accumulated experience, he has been frequently requested to act in complex negotiations, crises management, arbitrations, and mediations. He is also sought after for his legal opinions and advice in the business and international fields.

He is a member of the lists of arbitrators of the Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (CAMFIEP) and of the Chamber of Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration of Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo chapter (OAB/SP). He is also a member of the WTO Indicative List of Panelists from Brazil and due to his expertise in the area of international trade, in March 2019 he was elected by the member countries the to be one of the five members of the Permanent Group of Experts (PGE) of the WTO Committee on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures.
