NASSER ADVOGADOS INTRODUCES THREE NEW PARTNERS AND ONE COUNSEL

As it approaches its 15th anniversary, Nasser Advogados introduces three new partners and one counsel, effective April 4, 2022.

Ticiana Liarte de Meo, Maria Isabel Lima, Camila Ramos Montagna e Fernando Stefanelli Galucci have all accumulated vast experience in different fields and have all been part of our Firm for several years. During this time, they have provided consistent demonstrations of competence, dedication and adherence to the values that define Nasser Advogados.

As Ticiana, Maria Isabel and Camila join the partnership, this will reinforce the Firm’s work in fields such as Environmental Law; Public, Regulatory and Infrastructure Law; Business and Corporate Law, all areas in which Nasser Advogados excels, and will allow us to better service our clients. We are also proud that this represents an important step towards gender equity within our partnership.

Ticiana will build on her experience as legal manager in order to serve as the Firm’s new managing partner, as well as to continue providing legal services to key costumers.

Maria Isabel will become the partner responsible for the area of Environmental Law, which has known an important growth, and the area of Public, Regulatory and Infrastructure Law, alongside partners André Martin and Rabih Nasser.

Camila will join the team of partners who leads the area of Business Law, focusing mainly on Contracts, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Law, to all of which she has been dedicated for a long time and with great success.

Fernando Galucci, who now becomes the first counsel of our Firm, will serve as the reference in all cases involving Consumer Law and Recovery and Bankruptcy Law, areas to which he has been dedicated for many years. He will lead, alongside partner Sergio Zahr, the judicial disputes in these fields.

Thus, the Firm consolidates and reinforces its already successful work in all of the following areas, each one of which is placed under the leadership of one of more of our eight partners: Environment; International Trade; Antitrust; Business and Corporate; Real Estate; International; Public, Regulatory and Infrastructure; Dispute Resolution; Tax and Customs.

Profiles of the new partners and the new counsel:

Ticiana Liarte de Meo – graduated in 2006 at Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas and has a specialization degree in contracts obtained at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. She has over 10 years of experience in Corporate and Business Law and in Corporate Governance. For the last years, she has been responsible for helping clients with the management of their legal departments, focusing on team’s structuring and leadership, participating in strategic decisions, offering preventive advise and helping in mitigating risks.

Maria Isabel Lima – graduated in 2012 at Universidade Mackenzie and has obtained an MBA in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Universidade Federal de São Carlos. She is a certified Mediator and Conciliator, has a master’s degree in Environmental Law and is pursuing now a PhD in the same area. Has more than 10 years of experience in both dispute resolution and consultancy work in environmental themes, such as management of contaminated areas, environmental licensing, risk prevention, legal conformity and environmental regularization of real estate. She has participated in projects involving the real estate sector, transportation, energy, chemical industry and destination of residues. Isabel has had working experiences in Public Administration and in the Judiciary, as well as in specialized law firms. She also works with public tenders and administrative contracts, regulated sectors and the stat’s Audit Offices, and offers consulting on issues concerning Public, Regulatory and Infrastructure Law.

Camila Ramos Montagna – graduated in 2000 at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, has also obtained a specialization degree at the same institution. She has been working in the corporate consulting legal field for over 15 years. Presenting an eclectic profile, Camila has participated in many partnership operations and business dealings involving Brazilian and foreign Companies, pertaining to varied sectors of the economy, focusing on national and international contracts.

Fernando Stefanelli Galucci – graduated in 2009 at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, with a specialization degree in Contracts Law from the same institution and another in Arbitration Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas, obtained in 2018. He has been working in the Dispute Resolution area of our Firm for over 10 years. Lately, he has increasingly been dedicated to cases related to Judicial Recovery and Bankruptcy as well as to coordinating our clients’ caseloads related to Consumer Law.
